These Terms and Conditions govern access to the MakoAI website, Discord server, applications, APIs, Discord-connected services, and related services/features. By using MakoAI, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
MakoAI provides Discord-linked study support, account management, website access, billing features, verification flows, and related educational support services. Availability can change without notice. We may add, remove, suspend, or limit features at any time where reasonably necessary.
You must provide accurate information, keep your login details secure, and remain responsible for activity under your account. Some features depend on Discord or other affiliated services. Where you verify or connect Discord for official MakoAI server access, you agree that MakoAI may use the Discord authorization you granted, including the ability to add you back to official MakoAI servers, to help restore your access if service recovery is needed. We may suspend or restrict access if account ownership is unclear or abuse is suspected.
You must not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, bypass restrictions, impersonate other users, or use the website to bypass any security measures or gain access via unauthorized means. You remain responsible for how you use MakoAI and for compliance with any third-party rules and institutional policies that apply to you.
MakoAI is designed as an educational support tool. MakoAI must not be used in a way that violates academic integrity rules or the policies of your school, college, or educational institution. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of MakoAI complies with any applicable rules.
Premium access, slots, schedule slots, or similar paid items may be sold through third-party providers such as Stripe. Payment does not guarantee permanent availability of any feature. Purchases, access, or entitlements may be revoked, limited, or disabled where reasonably necessary for abuse prevention, risk control, chargeback handling, legal compliance, operational changes, or service integrity.
Refunds are not guaranteed. We may review requests on a case-by-case basis, but we are not obliged to provide a refund simply because a purchase was made or preferences changed after checkout. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under applicable law.
MakoAI may rely on third-party providers not directly affiliated with MakoAI. These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for outages, changes, or decisions made by those third parties. By using MakoAI, you also agree to the terms of those third-party providers.
The service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for your specific purpose. MakoAI does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or educational outcomes of any content generated or provided.
All content, software, branding, and materials provided through MakoAI remain the property of MakoAI or its licensors. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part of the service without permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MakoAI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for loss of data, access, revenue, or opportunity arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary. You may stop using the service at any time. Account deletion requests may require verification steps, and some data may be retained where required for legal, security, or operational reasons. Data held by third-party providers may not be deletable by us.
We may update these terms from time to time. By continuing to use MakoAI after changes are made, you agree to the updated terms. We will try to notify users of significant changes, but it is your responsibility to review the terms periodically.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
